l T&N Printing has received Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification. FSC is a nonprofit organization that promotes corporate responsibility and conservation in management of the world’s forests. Its Chain of Custody tracks materials through the production process, from the forest to the consumer. Certification indicates internationally recognized high social and environmental standards.

l Dixon Trash Disposal now provides single stream recycling thanks to van der Linde Recycling’s Green Machine This system allows more than 90 percent of garbage to be recycled without the resident sorting recyclables into separate commodities. Dixon Trash Disposal is a family-owned and -operated business providing curbside collection and recycling to Charlottesville and surrounding counties.

l AAA announced The Boar’s Head Inn and The Old Mill Room at The Boar’s Head Inn recipients of the 2010 Four Diamond Award. This is the ninth year The Boar’s Head Inn has won in the lodging category and the 23rd year The Old Mill Room has won in the restaurant category. The award is given to only 3.5 percent of 58,000 diamond rated lodgings and restaurants.

l Beights Corp. announced the addition of the Advanced Center for Physical Therapy to Old Trail Village Center in Crozet. ACPT has locations in Charlottesville and Greene County and will open in May.
