l After providing green home and garden goods to Charlottesville from its Preston Plaza location for the last three years, Blue Ridge Eco Shop will move to the Downtown Mall. The larger space will now feature a green design center, expanded natural baby products, free local delivery and parking validation for customers.

l Sugarbritches Children’s Boutique and Tea Room has opened for business in Gordonsville. The store carries children’s clothing, games, books, furniture and assorted candies and sweets. With a small tea room available for birthday parties, baby showers and other events, Sugarbritches also provides vintage dress-up clothes, a custom-painted wall mural and authentic French china.

l University Tire and Auto Center opened a second location at Pantops Shopping Center. The ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted by the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 1995 at Seminole Square, the full-service automotive center carries all major brands of tires and is ASE certified and a AAA repair facility.

l BreadWorks Bakery and Deli celebrated its 15th year of providing job training and employment to persons with disabilities in its bakery, deli, catering and wholesale operation. A division of nonprofit organization WorkSource Enterprises, BreadWorks employs approximately 20 people and offers 80 to 90 different baked goods, as well as sandwiches, soups and salads.
