» Cameron Seay has been accepted as an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. Members must have established an educational consulting practice and have a minimum of one year’s experience in educational placement, counseling or admissions. Seay foundedSeay Educational Consulting in Charlottesville in 2011 after serving as a high school and college adviser and college advising director for the previous eight years. Seay received bachelor’s degrees from both Virginia Military Institute and James Madison University and master’s degrees from Troy State and JMU.
» Dr. George A. Beller, president of the board of directors of the Piedmont Council for the Arts, announced a re-organization of leadership. Maggie Guggenheimer, executive director, will become consultant for research and planning and Sarah Lawson, associate director, will become interim executive director. The re-organization will support a new PCA venture into community cultural planning.
