» Chris J. Engel has been named economic development director for the city of Charlottesville. The current director, Aubrey Watts, will concentrate on his duties as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Engel is currently the assistant economic development director for Charlottesville and has worked for the city since 2005.

» Wendy Heifetz has been named director of business development for MH Swanson and Associates. Heifetz will be coordinating and enhancing the client service experience and develop new business relationships in the community. Heifetz will also be developing ongoing client communications and organizing a client advisory group.

» Jennifer Snoddy of ULTA salon in Charlottesville has become a Redken-certified hair colorist. Members of this group are recognized for their color expertise and commitment to excellence.
