Movie buffs planning to attend a tribute to the late Richard Widmark in Culpeper tonight will see a different film than was previously announced.

“Don’t Bother to Knock,“ a 1952 psychological thriller starring Widmark and Marilyn Monroe, will be screened at 7 this evening at Mount Pony Theater on the Packard Campus of the Library of Congress’ National Audiovisual Conservation Center.

The substitution was made because organizers encountered a problem with the print of “Pickup on South Street,“ the original film choice.

Widmark is one of the actors who died in 2008 who is being honored with the center’s current film series, “You Must Remember This.“ Other stars to be recognized with upcoming screenings will be Charlton Heston, Cyd Charisse and Ann Sothern.

Admission is free. For details and instructions on getting a stand-by card for seating, visit http://www.loc.gov/mtponytheater/reservations.html.
