“The Music Seen,“ a series featuring performances by local musicians taped before live audiences, can be seen 11 p.m.tonight on public television station WHTJ.

The program will feature Jim Waive and the Young Divorcees, Sarah White and Blue Line Highway. The performances were taped earlier this year at the Music Seen Festival.

Since the premiere of “The Music Seen,’’ more than 50 groups from around the region have performed in the annual Music Seen Festival.

Waive and his band perform country music with a percussive guitar style. Bassist Jen Fleischer and pedal steel and bottleneck guitarist Charlie Bell play in the band, and they’re often joined by fiddler Anna Matijasic.

Singer-songwriter White writes rock and country music with subtle lyrics. She won best-song honors for “Sweetheart’’ in 2007 at the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.

Blue Line Highway plays a mix of blues, contemporary pop and traditional country music. Members include John Leedes on guitar and vocals; Julia Dooley on vocals, percussion and harmonica; Melissa McKenna on vocals and guitar; and Ray Alfano on bass.

Waive, White, Ted Pitney and Justin Jones and the Driving Rain performed Friday at Fry’s Spring Beach Club.

WHTJ can be seen on cable channels 200, 201 and 220 and on digital channels 41.4, 41.2 and 41.3. Learn more at http://www.whtj.org.
