DMB saxophonist Moore recovering after accident

Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore remained in fair condition at the University of Virginia hospital Wednesday.

Moore was injured Monday at his farm outside Charlottesville while riding an all-terrain vehicle.

Tuesday night, the Dave Matthews Band performed in Charlotte, N.C., while Moore recuperated at UVa.

Several fans who attended the concert wrote on online message boards that Matthews led the crowd in a chant of “We want Roi.”

It was intended, Matthews reportedly said, to lift Moore’s spirits.

The extent of Moore’s injuries remains unknown, as the band has released only statements listing the saxophonist’s condition.
