PVCC to begin new building construction

Piedmont Virginia Community College is breaking ground on a new science building today.

The ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m.

A shuttle service will run from the visitors center parking lot below PVCC to the groundbreaking site starting at 11:30 a.m.

The 34,000-square-foot building will cost an estimated $11.4 million and is schedule for completion by January 2010.
