Bridge inspections may cause delays for motorists in Buckingham County next week.
Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation has planned three days of inspections.

On Monday, inspectors will examine the bridge on Route 605 over David Creek at the Appomattox County line.
On Tuesday, inspectors will review the bridges on Route 601, over Sycamore Creek at the Nelson County line, and Route 20, over Slate River and north of Dillwyn.
The final day of inspections is Wednesday, when the bridges on Route 642, over Slate River near Mount Rush, and on Route 652, over the Slate River near Arvonia, will be examined.

VDOT inspects all bridges at least every two years.
