2 armed men rob Boyd Tavern Market

Albemarle County police are searching for two men who held up a Keswick gas station at gunpoint.
Police responded to the Boyd Tavern Market on Richmond Road at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a reported armed robbery.
The store’s clerk told police that the robbers fled the area in a green SUV with a 1-inch yellow or orange stripe on the door. The clerk was not harmed during the robbery, police said.

The men made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first robber was described as a black man between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 3 inches tall. He was in his early to mid-20s and was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
The second robber was described as a light-skinned black male with a medium build, also standing between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 3 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hoodie and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 977-4000.
