County man arrested for possessing child pornography
An Albemarle County man pleaded guilty today to 10 counts of possessing child pornography.
Kenneth Rothwell, 49, was arrested March 31 after the IP address of a computer inside Rothwell’s apartment was discovered downloading and sharing child pornography over the Internet.
According to court documents filed by Detective Nicholas Rudman, Rothwell’s computer “stood out because it [was] one of the most active IP addresses … downloading and distributing child pornography” in the Charlottesville area.
