String of vandalism reported in Troy

A string of vandalism incidents in Fluvanna County caused an estimated $8,000 worth of damage over the weekend.

The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of vandalism in Troy late Saturday and early Sunday.
Several windows were broken at a house under construction. All of the windows in a vehicle were busted out. And several mailboxes were smashed, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 589-8211 or Crimestoppers at 977-4000. A cash reward is available for information leading to an arrest in connection with the incidents.
