Virginia has made blue-chip quarterback Tajh Boyd’s final four.

The highly-regarded quarterback from Group AAA, Division 5 state champion Phoebus High said that he is considering Virginia, Boston College, Ohio State and Oregon and that he plans to take two of his three remaining visits to the latter two schools.

Boyd had committed to Tennessee but became available when new coach Lane Kiffin informed the 6-foot, 208-pound mobile quarterback that he wasn’t a good fit for his program’s offensive system.

Boyd, named as an “Elite 11” quarterback, will play in this weekend’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
