l GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms employees have purchased backpacks and filled them with school supplies to be donated to Piedmont Court Appointed Special Advocates and delivered to 46 abused or neglected children who are served by CASA. Due to strict protection of the children’s privacy, the employees and children were not allowed to meet, but each employee was assigned a child and learned that child’s gender and grade level in order to creatively shop for supplies.

l Vinegar Hill Advertising Specialties is celebrating its 25th year of supplying promotional products to businesses throughout Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The business was started in 1983 by Kirbie (Dempsey) Moore.
