l Martin Horn Inc. of Charlottesville has been named a 2007 construction leader by Virginia Business Magazine. The magazine polls Virginia companies to determine business leaders in numerous categories, including accounting, insurance and finance. In construction, companies are ranked by annual business volume. Martin Horn was the only locally owned company to make the list with $50 million in revenues in 2007.

l Nielsen Builders Inc. of Charlottesville has been awarded several Albemarle County Schools renovation projects. The Piedmont office will manage projects at Greer, Meriwether Lewis and Brownsville elementary schools.
