l The Aging Together Partnership has been awarded two grants to improve access to vital services for older persons in the region. The American Bar Association Commission on Law and Aging has awarded Rappahannock Legal Services and Aging Together funds to improve access to legal services for seniors. The Virginia Department for the Aging awarded a grant to the partnership to support the operation of volunteer transportation networks in each of the area’s five counties.

l Beights Corp. announces the addition of Trailside Coffee to the Village Center at Old Trail in Crozet. Albemarle native and Crozet-area resident Marcia McGee, proprietor, will be opening the shop once construction is completed on the new Village Center, scheduled for January.
