 John Grisham has been elected to the board of directors of the Focused Ultrasound Surgery Foundation for a three-year term. Grisham’s role will be to help obtain philanthropic support and increase awareness of the foundation’s innovative therapeutic approach of using focused ultrasound in treating cancers, neurological and other serious medical conditions.

 Holly M. Chichester has joined the staff of J. W. Townsend as a project coordinator. She has been in the industry for 13 years, including serving as Staunton’s city horticulturist, and is a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. In her new position, Chichester is responsible for landscape design and sales, site analysis, project management and onsite supervision.

 Bob Hassmiller, chief executive officer of NACAS of Charlottesville, has renewed his credential of Certified Association Executive awarded by the American Society of Association Executives. NACAS is a nonprofit higher education association serving auxiliary services and student support services professionals at colleges and universities around the world. 
