l Melissa Miller has opened a new business, M2 Personal Training LLC, offering personal training, small group classes and Pilates in homes, offices or locations of choice. Miller is a nationally certified personal trainer and holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She has more than 10 years of experience in the fitness industry.

l Cordell Faulk has been hired as director of communications, media and research at the University of Virginia Center for Politics. Faulk previously served as commentary editor for the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

l John Hash, PE, and Frank Pohl, PE, have been hired as senior project managers for the Timmons Group in Charlottesville. Hash previously served as branch office manager for Patton Harris and Rust. Pohl previously served as project manager at Weatherhill Development.

l Charles D. “Skip” Fox IV, a partner at McGuire Woods, and April Ristau, a vice president with SunTrust, have been appointed to the board of directors of Camp Holiday Trails, a Charlottesville area camp for children with special health needs.
