l Tastefully Simple consultant Lisa Jones of Crozet participated in Leadership on the Lake in Minnesota, a four-day training opportunity for team mentor-level consultants. The training offers leaders tools to develop their teams and generate greater business results.
l Tim Wyckoff has been named account manager for Virginia Blood Services. Wyckoff has more than 20 years experience with nonprofits and will be in charge of working with businesses around the Charlottesville region to recruit and organize blood drives.
l The Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association elected the following officers for 2008-09: John W. Zunka, president; Donald R. Morin, past president; James P. Cox III, president-elect; Julia Sexton, secretary/treasurer; Patricia M. Brady, Mark J. Nelson, Claude V. Worrell II, Michael E. Derdeyn, Frederick T. Heblich Jr. and Kurt J. Krueger, directors.
l 2rw Consultants Inc. have hired the following members to the firm as part of its Design Group: Dan Hoffman is responsible for the design of energy-efficient HVAC systems; Chris Shifflett is involved with the design of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems and administering construction projects; and Paul Stevens aids in the design of energy-efficient mechanical systems.
