l Richard M. “Rick” DiSalvo, PE, vice president and chief operating officer for Draper Aden Associates, has assumed the position of chairman of the Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association for 2009-10. DiSalvo has been a member of the organization since 1978 and has held various leadership roles throughout his tenure.
l FortiusOne, a provider of visual intelligence located in Arlington, has named a board of advisors. Charter members include Michael Frankel, senior vice president, Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions, for LexisNexis Group in Charlottesville. Frankel brings to FortiusOne expertise across several sectors, including market research and data analytics, B2B content and data, enterprise software and consumer finance.

l McGuireWoods LLP announced that Collin J. Hite and Mitchell K. Morris have been elected to leadership positions in the newly reactivated Richmond chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Hite was elected president and a director. He previously served as president for two terms in 2002-04. Morris was elected to a three-year term as a director.
