Walter Megonigal was recently hired to serve as financial services representative for Charlottesville State Farm agent Gary Albert. Megonigal is fully licensed to assist clients with business insurance, investment and retirement needs and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank Network has hired Lawrence Zippin of Albemarle County as its chief executive officer. Zippin comes to the food bank with extensive senior executive management experience in the nonprofit sector.
