Artisans Center switches to ceramics
The Artisans Center of Virginia will feature the works of Arlington artist Novie Trump in June.
“Reliquaries” runs from Sunday through June 30. Admission is free to the Waynesboro center.
Trump’s sculptural ceramics is influenced by the ancient relics and stories of past civilizations that she studied as an archaeologist, particularly the massive stone markers of the Mycenaean beehive burial mounds, Mesopotamian steles, Egyptian columns and Celtic monoliths.
ACV, a non-profit, visual arts organization representing Virginia crafts, is in the Willow Oak Plaza at 801 W. Broad St. in Waynesboro. For more information call (540) 946-3294.
Church toasts woman of ‘All Seasons’
Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church will have a reception at noon Sunday.
The event is the second of two events celebrating Chris Wharam’s exhibition, “Woman: All Seasons.”
The show runs through June 1 with two receptions planned. One will be 5:30 p.m. today, with a second at noon June 1. The church is at 717 Rugby Road.

Les Yeux closes exhibits with reception
Les Yeux du Monde will be open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday for a closing reception.
The gallery plans to celebrate its time in the Terraces and to close its current exhibitions.
The featured exhibition, “Rosemarie Fiore: View from Clear Creek,” was held in association with the exhibition at Second Street Gallery.
Les Yeux also has five other exhibitions in the mezzanine and lower galleries. These include Irwin Berman’s “Seating as Sculpture,” Rob Tarbell’s “Horses,” “Flight: A Portfolio of Prints by Modern Masters” benefitting the International Rescue Committee, Norma Rodgers’s “Homage to Velazquez” and “A Celebration of John McCarthy’s Art and Life.”

UVa grads cross Bridge one last time
A salon-style group show of photographic works by the University of Virginia’s graduating class is on display at the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative through Sunday.
The display by six student photographers opened May 29.

Registration set for children’s project
The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection is holding a program for children next month.
“Dot by Dot,” an art project for children ages 6 to 11 will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. June 14.

Bridgewater buys art major’s work
A photograph by Linsday Fagan was among five works by senior art majors purchased by Bridgewater College for its permanent collection.
Fagan, a 2004 graduate of Western Albemarle High School, sold a digital photo from her Einstein’s Dreams series, “Memory or Object.”
She is the daughter of Gary and Phyllis Fagan of Crozet.
