Summer’s on the big screen at Paramount
The Paramount Theater has announced its summer movie schedule. Each month has a different theme to appeal to movie buffs.
June’s theme is family movies, and the selections include “The Goonies” on June 1, “The Black Stallion” on June 8, “Fiddler on the Roof” on June 15, “The Sandlot” for Father’s Day on June 21 and “Curse of the Were Rabbit” on June 22.
July’s focus is on Academy Award-winning movies, with “American in Paris” on July 20 and “The Godfather” on July 27.
August will be filled with music documentaries, including “The Last Waltz” on Aug. 3, “Neil Young: Heart of Gold” on Aug. 10, “Woodstock” on Aug. 17, “Gimme Shelter” on Aug. 24 and “Stop Making Sense” on Aug. 31.
