‘Idol’ champ tickets go on sale
“American Idol” champion David Cook will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Paramount Theater.
Tickets went on sale to Paramount members this morning and will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Cook, who won the seventh season reality competition show crown last year, won 56 percent of the almost 100 million votes cast. He then made music chart history by landing 11 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, landing the most new singles in the rankings in one week since the Beatles in 1964.
Cook, 25, followed it up with “The Time of My Life,” his first single. The song made its debut at No. 3 on the Hot 100 chart.
Before Cook won on “American Idol,” he released his first album, “Analog Heart.” He released his “David Cook” CD, which contains “The Time of My Life,” “Light On” and “Permanent,” in November.
Tickets are $32.50. Get them at the box office, online at http://www.theparamount.net or by phone at 979-1333.
