‘Holiday with the Hoos’ will be Dec. 5 at the Jack

The University of Virginia Cavalier Marching Band and UVa Wind Ensemble will team up for “Holiday with the Hoos,“ an evening of music starting 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at John Paul Jones Arena.

Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. Monday.

The program will include school songs and halftime shows from the 2008 season. Expect student a cappella groups and the African Drum Ensemble to take part in the holiday festivities.

Plan to arrive at 7 p.m. to get autographs from featured twirlers and drum majors.

On the night of the show, bring new toys, books and games to donate to the Charlottesville Toy Lift.
