Albemarle man shot after home break-in

A 30-year-old man was shot and wounded in his residence in the 200 block of Burton Court near Hydraulic Road around 4:40 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to Albemarle County police.

Two suspects broke into the house and after a struggle, shot the man. Police identified the victim as Sydney T. Feggans. Descriptions of the suspects have not been released.

The victim was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
