Construction sites:

I-64 eastbound and westbound, from mile marker 130 to mile marker 131, about 10 miles east of Charlottesville: The right lanes will be closed from 11:30am to 1pm

I-64 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 108, about 11 miles west of Charlottesville: Right shoulder closed in both directions.
I-64 westbound from mile marker nera U.S. 29 exit, west of Charlottesville:   The right shoulder is closed until 5 p.m. for sign installation.

U.S. 29 northbound from Route 804, about 3 miles north of Covesville, to Route 692, about 6 miles north of Covesville: . There will be alternating lane closures until 5 p.m. for paving.

 

Streets to be closed for Saturday’s Dogwood Parade

McIntire Road from Preston Avenue to Harris Street: Closed from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as staging area for bands and floats

Market Street from McIntire Road to 7th Street: Closed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

7th Street from Market Street to High Street: Closed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

High Street from 7th Street to McIntire Road: Closed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Foxfield Shuttle

Charlottesville Transit Service will run shuttles to the Foxfield races every 15 minutes between 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.. Pickup points are Scott Stadium, the UVa Chapel, and the Judge Adjutant General school parking lot. Return shuttle service will run from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will return customers to original pick up locations.  The Foxfield shuttle is $10 cash fare payable upon boarding.  Please have exact fare, drivers cannot make change.
