Numerous bridge inspections will cause delays across Central Virginia in the coming weeks.
Bridges in two area counties will be inspected in the next two weeks, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
In Buckingham, the Route 612 bridge spanning the Appomattox River at the county line with Appomattox will undergo inspection on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Route 676 bridge over the Slate River near Fluvanna County will undergo inspection.
In Nelson County on Jan. 19 a pair of bridges crossing the Tye River on Route 56 will be inspected — one near Colleen and the other near Massies Mill.
On Jan. 20, two other Nelson bridges will be inspected. Both cross Ruckers Run. One is on Route 650 near Shipman; the other is on Route 655 near Norwood.
