Nelson County blaze battled

Nelson County firefighters, bolstered by crews from surrounding vicinities, battled a blaze at 6787 Taylor’s Creek Road that has damaged the house at the location.

The fire was reported at about 5:30 a.m., about 45 minutes after rescue crews were called to the Yonder Hills Farm Road incident in western Albemarle County. State police, county police and federal authorities remain on the scene at Yonder Hills Farm.
