Troy man charged in infant’s death

A Fluvanna County grand jury has charged a Troy man in connection with the death of a 5-month-old baby.

Samuel Bee Jones III, 24, was charged with second-degree murder and child abuse in an indictment handed down Monday.
The baby died Oct. 8. Authorities have not revealed details of how the baby was injured.

Jones is scheduled to be arraigned March 13 in Fluvanna Circuit Court.
