Stanardsville man faces 10 counts of child pornography

Deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Stanardsville man on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

Trenton Ray Morris, 26, of 248 Commonwealth Drive, was arrested Friday, according to a news release from Maj. Randall Snead of the Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest came as the result of an August search warrant that allowed authorities to seize several of Morris’ electronic devices, including computers, according to the release.

The investigation is continuing, and more charges may be filed, the release said.
Morris was taken to the Central Virginia Regional Jail in lieu of $7,500 secured bond, according to the release.
