Perriello meeting officials across district

Tom Perriello, who was certified as the winner of last month’s 5th District congressional race, is embarking on a 20-stop tour of the district to meet with elected officials, business and nonprofit leaders, and constituents.

As part of the tour, Perriello will make two appearances in the Charlottesville area.

His first local stop will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fluvanna County Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Social at the Ashlawn Grille, 41 Ashlawn Blvd. in Palmyra.

The tour will end Friday with Perriello’s second local appearance. He, along with his staff and family, will ring the Salvation Army bell and collect holiday donations at 1:30 p.m. at the Barracks Road Shopping Center outside of Michaels.
