A venue has been named for Tuesday’s visit to Charlottesville by Terry McAuliffe, who will speak about health care on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

McAuliffe — the former co-chairman of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign and a potential 2009 gubernatorial contender in Virginia — will host a health care town forum at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Charlottesville Community Design Center, 100 5th St. NE.

McAuliffe, who was chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005, will discuss Obama’s plans to assist the uninsured and bring down health care costs.
