Warner coming to city ahead of election

Former Gov. Mark R. Warner will appear in Charlottesville on Monday to kick off the Democrats’ final push to turn out votes for the Nov. 4 election.
Warner, a Democrat, is facing former Gov. Jim Gilmore, a Republican, in the race to replace to John W. Warner in the U.S. Senate.
Mark R. Warner will attend the Democrats’ Election Week canvass kickoff at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the coordinated campaign office at 104 14th St. on the Corner.
