Nelson man takes $100,000 lottery prize
A Nelson County man became $100,000 richer last week after picking the winning numbers in the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 drawing.
Alain San Giorgio of Nellysford, who bought the winning ticket at Graves Grocery on Rockfish Valley Highway, selected the numbers at random.
“I’m just lucky, that’s all,” he told Virginia Lottery officials.
San Giorgio owns a real estate company and runs a bed and breakfast. `
