PVCC to host forum on serving county

Piedmont Virginia Community College will host a forum Tuesday aimed at better serving Nelson County.

The forum begins at 7 p.m. at Nelson County High School.

“We’re interested in hearing what types of classes, training and services are desired, either on PVCC’s campus, in Nelson County or through the Internet,” said Frank Friedman, PVCC’s president.

Friedman and other college officials are scheduled to attend the forum.
Nearly 300 Nelson County residents took PVCC classes as new or returning students during the 2006-07 academic year.
