Best would make the best sheriff

Paul Best is running for Charlottesville sheriff as an independent. He is extremely qualified for this position and is serious about his work. Best has a highly diverse law enforcement background. He is intelligent and quick on his feet also.

His opponent, James Brown, doesn’t hold a candle to Best. Brown’s background could possibly be used to run for a clerk position, but not law enforcement.

Best believes that the sheriff should work for “the people, not a particular party.” He will not fire employees from the sheriff’s office based on their party affiliation (the spoils system). This sheriff’s candidate will not be part of any party favors, as doing so is wrong in the office of sheriff.

Best has worked hard for Charlottesville and he will continue to work hard for his great city. City residents should vote for Paul Best for sheriff.
