Democrats deserve congressional boot

In a couple of weeks, Virginians can go to the polls and vote for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.  Of course, few are likely to want to vote for them, since approval of the Congress under their leadership as speaker and senate majority leader has sunk to new lows.

But, they should be reminded that a vote for Tom Perriello for Congress is a vote for Mrs. Pelosi to continue as speaker of the House, and a vote for Mark Warner is a vote for Harry Reid to continue as Senate majority leader.

That’s reason enough for most of us to decline to vote for Perriello or Mark Warner. Especially since Virgil Goode and Jim Gilmore are more competent candidates.

My name is Al Highsmith and I approve this message.
