It’s time for Perriello

Time is up for Virgil Goode. The time is now for Tom Perriello.

It is time to elect Tom Perriello because the need for change in government has never been greater.

It is time to elect Tom Perriello because reality has proven beyond doubt that the economic and political philosophy of Republican conservatives does not work.

Tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation have resulted in lost jobs, depressed wages and a financial system so chaotic that the American taxpayer is being forced to spend a trillion dollars to stave off disaster.

It is time to elect Tom Perriello because he has dedicated his life to working for the common good, for the public benefit. His dedication contrasts sharply to the age of self-centered greed that is now ending.

It is time to elect Tom Perriello because he will tell us the truth and conduct his office openly, not in secret meetings with corporate lobbyists.

The problems of the 21st century demand new solutions, not the failed theories of the 20th century. It is time to give Tom Perriello the opportunity, the responsibility for creating these new solutions. It is time to elect Tom Perriello to represent us in Congress.
