Police protection seems to be lacking

I have followed the news throughout most of Virginia and I can attest to the increased numbers of violent crimes that appear to occur in and around the Charlottesville area. The city is not that large, yet there appears to be little or no police protection available. I do not even live in the area. I have tracked it through the news. Something is seriously wrong.

Hey, quit puttin’ down our town Hanover boy. Try driving thru Charlottesville with a dead inspection sticker on your car or parking illegally and you will find our men in blue real fast.
