Snow exemplifies a leader’s courage

Based on the position of the three candidates on the issue of the possible closing of the three schools in our county, the choice for who should be the next Albemarle County supervisor from the Samuel Miller District is clear: Duane Snow.

At a recent joint appearance, one of Mr. Snow’s opponents, John Lowry, responded that to answer the question of where he stood on the issue would “slow down due process.”

Slow down “due process”? Tell that to the families who rely on the three schools in question to maintain a sense of community in their lives.

Mr. Snow was the only candidate at the forum who took a strong stance in favor of keeping the schools open.

We need strong leaders. Mr. Snow has shown me his strength and I believe he will bring that strength to the Board of Supervisors.
