At week’s end: Pup was all tired out

Us dogs gotta stick together when the fuzz arrives.
That must have been the pact a pack made in Hope Mills, N.C.
When a sheriff’s deputy arrived to answer a complaint about a neighboring dog, he parked in the driveway of the woman who had called in the complaint.
While he was next door talking to the owner of that animal, a pit bull belonging to complainant took matters into his own, ah, teeth.
The dog chomped into the tires of the cruiser with such force that all four tires deflated.
The complainant certainly got service from the sheriff’s department when she called.
Now she’ll also get a bill for four new tires.
