Ah, the ’90s. What a decade!

The 1890s, that is.

A school pool in San Antonio was inadvertently catapulted back more than 100 years when it flew a U.S. flag with just 43 stars.

Finally, somebody noticed the error.

Scott Zolinski, director of the Northside Independent School District Aquatics Center, says the district “went on good faith that when you purchase the item that it was the real thing.”

The last time the American flag carried 43 stars was in 1890.

We just don’t think there were many pools at schools back in those ’90s …
