With 373 passing yards and four touchdowns from McGee, Collegiate downed St. Anne’s-Belfield on the road Friday 37-14.

Since losing to Blue Ridge in December, the St. Anne’s-Belfield boys basketball team has reeled off 12 straight wins, but getting to 13 was almost more than the Saints could handle.

Behind a dominant game by senior Ellen Smethurst, the Eagles trounced the visiting Cougars 3-1 (25-20, 26-28, 25-18, 25-19) to win the LIS championship.

On Wednesday evening the two teams went at again in their semifinal match of the LIS tournament, but this time around it was the Cougars who came out on top 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 17-25, 15-8).
