The reigning state champions remained undefeated, handling Fork Union 41-27 despite a late push from the home team.

“[Liberty]’s definitely the best team in the state, they’re a quality football team,” Covenant coach Mark Sanford said.

The Covenant football team will have its hands full this afternoon when Liberty Christian comes to town.
