Tarheel Tour returns to area
The EGOLF Tour Championship (the tour is now sponsored by EGOLF) will be contested on two Central Virginia courses this week with a $200,00 purse. The 54-hole tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday at Spring Creek Golf Club near Zion Crossroads and at Wintergreen’s Stoney Creek course.

Moyers, Little advance in Match Play Championships

Golfers gear up for Match Play Championships
Paul Kane and 15 other players will tee it up this morning in the second annual match play event that boasts the top 16 finishers and alternates from the season-long Battle Trophy competition. Two rounds will be played today, with the semifinals and finals set for Sunday.
