Angelinos, Huey win at Glenmore

Former UVa standouts Ted Angelinos and Treat Huey capped a successful weekend with a 7-6(2), 6-4 victory over Albert Larregola and Ignaci Roca in the men’s open doubles final at the USTA-Virginia State Open Clay Court Championships at Glenmore Country Club on Monday morning.
Angelinos and Huey, who finished their UVa careers in the NCAA tournament in May, battled through a tiebreaker to win the first set and held off Larregola and Roca in the second to win the title. The runners-up both played for Virginia Tech.
Huey defeated Larregola 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 in Sunday’s singles final.
In the mixed open doubles final, Romain Ambert and Nataly Fleishman defeated Bridget Reichert and Kevin Reichert 6-3, 6-2.
