You’ve seen him in such comedy films as Will Ferrell’s “Semi-Pro” and Tina Fey’s “Baby Mama.” Now you can see comedian Jay Phillips in person at Play On’s Theatre at Ix.
Phillips will present two shows tonight — one at 8 p.m., the other at 9:30 p.m. — as part of the National Stand-Up Comedy Series.
He also has been seen on the big screen in “Prom Night” with Brittany Snow, as well as on the small screen on Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment” on Starz Network, “The Jimmy Kimmel Show” and “The Byron Allen Show.”
Bill Metzger, a local comedian who recently opened for the United Nations of Comedy Tour at the Paramount Theater and has performed at Richmond’s FunnyBone Comedy Club, will be hosting the show.
