It is with great disappointment that again I feel that what my federal tax dollars support is unfair and actually detrimental to our country. Record profits for large corporations that enjoy little to no taxation, including bailed-out banks and Wall Street crooks, huge CEO bonuses, and especially the ridiculous wars we’re perpetuating in the Middle East. These are not what the working class should be saddled with to pay; however, we are ever increasingly weighed with the responsibility.
Meanwhile, most of our Congress is being bought by special interest groups supported secretly by ultra-wealthy businessmen like Rupert Murdoch and the Koch brothers. This, thanks to our Supreme Corp., aka Supreme Court, decision to allow corporations to support elections and smear opponents. Many shadow organizations like the media-favorite Tea Party and Americans For Prosperity, are just fronts for the Koch dream-government.
As a small businessman and hard-working state employee, this is intolerable and I cannot in good conscience, support the U.S. Treasury at this time. Therefore I again will be withholding my taxes from the IRS for 2010.
