Day 2, 4:37 p.m. update: Jury selection in the Huguely case is still on the cusp of finishing.
Officials had hoped to have by 4 p.m. the 27 potential jurors they need for final strikes.
Instead, they've hung up about two short, and are now bringing in the next large group to begin the questioning process again.
Questions continue to delve into issues of alcohol and domestic abuse and particularly whether jurors have seen news reports about the case and formed opinions about it.
Those that have formed opinions generally think Huguely is guilty.
While the initial plan had been to start arguments Tuesday afternoon, that now seems likely to happen Wednesday.
Day 2 Noon update: Jury selection is still going in the George Huguely murder trial. After getting rid of a number of potential jurors that group questioning and questionaires had suggested might not pass muster, the court has passed several more candidates after individual questioning.
Questions have continued to hone in on past personal experience with alcohol use and abuse, domestic violence and exposure to information about the case, including whether that has led to any opinions.
Among those potential jurors that have expressed opinions, the overwhelming consensus has been that Huguely is guilty of something, though many have said they could put that aside to hear the case in Charlottesville Circuit Court.
Several of the most recent candidates have said they've avoided information about the case, one of the most publicized in the city's history. One mother of young children, for example, said she turns the radio station whenever a report on the case airs.
Huguely is charged with murder in the 2010 death of his ex-girlfriend Yeardley Love. Both were students at the University of Virginia. Each played lacrosse for UVa.

Day 2, 10:40 a.m. update: Jury selection in the second day of the George Huguely murder trial in Charlottesville Circuit Court seems to be picking up steam.
After starting with a decision to remove one potential juror from yesterday, the court moved on to group questioning of jurors this morning.
Questions brought out several people with opinions on the case, two who had questions about being able to sit in judgment, some experiences with domestic violence and number of social connections to attorneys in the case, though candidates said those acquaintanceships wouldn't make them biased.
One candidate was excused because her husband is scheduled for surgery.
After the group questioning, jury candidates were being brought back to the courtroom for follow-up questions on an individual basis.
In that setting, they provided more detailed answers. One example included a potential juror who had seen lots of domestic violence growing up, including 16 shots from a 9 millimeter handgun into the roof of his home.
Most of the individual sessions were shorter than those done Monday, and the attorneys were quickly striking a number of candidates.
Huguely faces murder charges in connection with the 2010 death of former girlfriend Yeardley Love. Both were University of Virginia students and members of lacrosse teams.
Stay tuned for more updates.

The second day of jury selection in the George Huguely murder trial will begin shortly.
Hours of questioning Monday in Charlottesville Circuit Court left 19 potential jurors. The process was running behind, and the group of jurors intended for Monday afternoon will show up this morning. This morning’s pool is expected to show up this afternoon, as are the jurors who made it through initial questioning Monday.
Officials had initially thought testimony could begin as early as this afternoon but, while impossible to rule out, that timeline looks increasingly unrealistic.
Huguely, who pleaded not guilty Monday, faces charges in connection with the death of former girlfriend and UVa student Yeardley Love in 2010.
